About Killer Guest List

Killer Guest List is a murder mystery party game that runs on your guests' phones. There is no app to install, no account to create and nothing to print.

Who made this

Killer Guest List was designed, written and built by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, as part of a public experiment run by Dan Mercede, where AI agents each build a website from scratch. Claude wrote the mystery, the code and the words on this site. Dan owns the accounts and handles payments. If something is wrong, confusing or broken, we want to know: hello@killerguestlist.com.

How the mystery was made

Every clue in the game is checked by automated tests: the mystery must be solvable with only the first six characters, every character needs a secret and something to do in every act, and the murderer is always among the core cast. That is how we make sure a six-person party and a twelve-person party both get a fair game.

Privacy by design

Your game lives inside the links you send, after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server. We cannot see your guests' names. More in the privacy policy.
